  Brisbane airport has so many regional connecting flights that I find this lounge perpetually busy. Compared to Melbourne or Sydney, it is definitely smaller in size and during peak times, difficult to find a chair. Always enjoy the service here and the food bar is well maintained - please Qantas - no more toasted sandwiches. Throughout the day, there will also be special meals served such as spring rolls or meat pies. Plenty of facilities such as meeting rooms and showers if you have an extended stay. My preferred facility is the bar - let the drinks flow!

  We booked business class tickets to South America specifically so we could us the Qantas lounge between flights, as we had done on other trips. It seems Brisbane lounge only caters for the businessman, as it is closed outside of business hours. Specifically, only operating from 9am to 4pm or 9am to 3pm and closed completely on weekends. Our 2 flights through Brisbane fall outside of those hours, so we have no access what so ever. If ZERO stars was an option, they would have got that. Very disappointed.
